Solfeggio per bambini
Come coinvolgere i bambini nella pratica musicale senza strumento?
Il solfeggio basato sul metodo Kodály, che per distinguere dal tradizionale chiamerò solfege, parte dall’apprendimento per imitazione di brevi canzoni della tradizione popolare, dalla forma semplice e dal contenuto vicino al mondo e all’immaginazione dei bambini.
I bambini attraverso la ripetizione frase per frase (gioco dell’eco) imparano a memoria le canzoni, facilitati in questo processo dall’unione musica-parola.
Si può iniziare ad esempio con canzoni aventi la cellula melodica sol-mi (questo è l’intervallo del “richiamo” materno) per poi proseguire con canzoni la-sol-mi quindi con canzoni re-do, mi-re-do, la-sol-mi-re-do (scala pentatonica). In ogni caso le canzoni devono avere un’estensione limitata (la sesta) e adatte al registro della voce dei bambini.
Ai bambini piace imparare ogni lezione una canzone nuova. Attraverso le attività applicate alle canzoni i bambini maturano le capacità musicali in modo naturale.
